My wife's laptop is a Mac Book Pro running Windows 7 under Boot Camp. It's a fast machine but when she tries to open an existing Word document or make a new blank one she gets the error message There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannot display the requested font and some of the layout is garbled. As you can see from this screenshot less than half of the 2.16 of usable RAM is in use and 180 GB of the 232 GB of hard drive are free. Word should not be running out of memory at all. I have tried Deleting the normal template Disabling all add ons and ins None of these work. What is going on and how should I fix it?.

An hour of trouble shooting just to restart the server, I have done this a dozen times for clients and seem to have had a different issue each time. 3 people found this helpful After trying various suggestions to no avail, I rebooted the laptop and that fixed it. 3 people found this helpful Try Restarting the computer. My solution was to check all the fonts that word sets up as default for the different styles. In my case, two were not fond on the server. I replace them with Times New Roman and saved the template as normal.dot. All good now. Be the first person to mark this helpful plez, reply me on Quision.  And how to solve my problem.
